The Water Quality Association calls anything above 10.5 grains per gallon “very hard.” The City of Santa Barbara’s own water lab publishes hardness between 2 and 45 gpg depending on which source is feeding your neighborhood.

At my own home I have had many broken pipes due to old caste iron, and Luigi has handled big jobs like replacing broken pipes under my shower and in the driveway and putting everything back together. He replaced the sewer line into the street on one of my rental properties. He has also replaced my water heater with a tankless one, and dealt with many clogged pipes due to tree roots. Had a problem at 5:30pm and thought because it was after hours that he would not be available or if he was available that it would be very expensive. I was completely wrong. He was on his way home and said it was no problem to come to my home. He arrived within minutes of his promised arrival time. He fixed the problem quickly and told me how it would reoccur again and how I could avoid the problem. I didn’t feel like he was trying to sell me anything. I felt like he was informing me so I could understand why the problem happened and how I could avoid it in the future. He said my pipes under the house were put on incorrect. Guess what? He was right. After he left, I checked the pipes. He said there was a place that catches paper etc and prone to clogging. I easily found it, google it, and confirmed his assessment. His rates were very reasonable. I felt like I should have paid him more since my reduced stress and worry is worth alot! He had professional behavior, super clean, honest, and as bonus he was really nice! This was my third experience with his company and I can honestly say that all three experiences resulted in happiness   from his excellent services.
